We’re passionate about
breaking down the racial walls that divide us,
bringing young adults into a life-changing community,
and empowering them to live the abundant life that God promises us.
In 2000, when Redeemer Church in Park Ridge was on the brink of closing, we decided to stake our existence as a congregation on this vision. Since then, God has been overwhelmingly generous to us and blessed our work. Around 2011, God gave us a dream of taking this vision beyond our four walls by becoming one church that gathers in two locations: Park Ridge and Chicago. Through our second location on North Avenue, we are able to share God’s love with even more people than in just Park Ridge alone. Since our first worship service at Redeemer North Avenue in 2012, we’ve become a growing, energetic, Christ-centered, multisite community. We’re excited to continue following God’s lead, and are currently planting a third Redeemer campus in Portage Park.
Just as we did nearly two decades ago, we entrust the success of this endeavor to God. God has called us down a new path where we can’t exactly see the ending, but we’re trusting that God is in control and will continue to bless our work as we seek to share God’s love in this new community.
