Welcome

Are you ready for a new kind of church? Are you ready to discover, renew, or deepen a life-changing relationship with God? We’re a lively, growing, and caring community of people who have discovered that knowing Jesus — and letting ourselves be known by Jesus — changes lives. We’re passionate about following Jesus, breaking down the racial walls that divide us, bringing young adults into a life-changing community, and empowering them to live the abundant life that God promises us.

God has blessed us and has given us a dream of becoming one church that gathers in three locations in order to bring God’s joy to the city. Come and share our dream!

Join the conversation. Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the Christian faith. We meet for dinner together at 6:30 pm, then watch a short video and have some discussion in a friendly, open, and informal environment from 7:30-9:00. No question is out of bounds and you are free to join the discussion as much or as little as you wish. Alpha will run from September 20 – December 13 at Redeemer Park Ridge. Sign up here.

We’re planting a third Redeemer campus. Our new Redeemer location (Redeemer Portage Park) has so far Five monthly worship gathering at Old Irving Brewing on the Northwest Side, and we’ll gather again on December 3. Please support our shared mission with your prayers, with your presence, and/or by inviting someone you know who doesn’t have a church home.

For information about activities and opportunities near our third campus, go to the Portage Park page or contact Peter Schwich.

Musicians wanted. Learn more about playing in the band at Redeemer here.

A Night in Bethlehem is Saturday, December 3, from 2:00-4:00pm at our Park Ridge campus. During this 2-hour Christmas open house, families will wander through the bustling Bethlehem marketplace and discover what life was like when Jesus was born. Everyone will create unique keepsakes as they interact with local shopkeepers who share the Christmas story. You’ll love talking to Mary and Joseph in The Stable—and hearing about the miracle of Jesus’ birth. (An RSVP isn’t required, but by clicking “going” on our Facebook event, you can help our leaders prepare.)
